Our practitioners are certified by the Kenya Psychologists and Counsellors Association (KPCA), American Psychological Society (APA), The British Psychological Society (BPS) and The Association of Business Psychology (BPS) and The Stress Management Institute (UK).

Our bodies are well equipped to handle everyday stressors. However, when not managed well, stress can become chronic with serious Physically one may experience tension type headaches, shoulder and neck pain, lower back pain, gastrointestinal discomfort, sleep disturbances and weight loss or gain.

Prolonged stress can lead to ailments such as heart attacks/stroke, high blood pressure, ulcers, diabetes, and cancer. Studies have shown a link between stress and psychological disorders such as anxiety, depression, and substance use.

Stress is a part of life. We all need some stress (eustress) to stay motivated and therefore, cannot avoid it. We can, however, learn to manage it so that it does not manage us.

As we navigate through changes in our lives from childhood to adolescence, adulthood and old age, certain stressors such as college, work, relationships, money, jobs or illness can possibly emerge. When not well managed, prolonged stress has an impact on our physical and mental wellbeing.
